1/3 of professionals aged 45–54 plan a significant career change, proving this is the decade for intentional reinvention.
Meet Kim Herrlein
A story of loss, reinvention & generational healing
How collapse became clarity. How survival became design.
At 21, Kim's mother died at 44, trapped in silence and self-abandonment. That loss made her vow: her mother's story would not become hers. Years later, after a painful divorce, financial collapse, and the loss of her daughters' father to suicide, Kim stood in front of a mirror and realized: she didn't hate herself. She hated the life she had settled into.
That moment became her choice point.
Using the tools she now teaches, Kim rebuilt everything. Not just her circumstances, but her entire identity. As founder of Purveyors of Leisure and CEO of the Fainting Couch Boutique Hotel, she discovered her true gift wasn't in hospitality logistics. It was in guiding communities through transformation.
With a Master's in Psychology, NLP certification, and the hard-won wisdom of her own spiral, she created Insight Seeker to hold space for women to reconnect with themselves and rise into aligned leadership. She's a sought-after speaker and 3x Amazon best-selling co-author. But most importantly, she's a woman who knows what it feels like to be fragmented and then found again.
